We came here for a few hours on our last morning in town. Was very crowded by 11am. The beach is pretty small so gets crowded quickly. There are a mix of beach clubs and open areas if you don't want to rent chairs.

There are several beaches in the same area with different aspects. All are pretty small and surrounded by trees and bushes. The water is crystal clear and beaches are clean. There is a parking and a small café where you can buy drinks and paninis....More

We wanted to go to a proper beach...the beaches in Otranto are tiny and not inviting. We drove north of Otranto, far enough we thought to get away from the crowds. We found the beach signposted, parked in the very large half-empty car park and...More

The spot is beautiful, clear waters, nice sand, beautiful surroundings, but we went in August and it was really overcrowded, people were fighting for space just to put one towel down.I would recommend it but definitely not in August.

This is a tricky beach to get to and I don't think you'd want to go there in peak summer as car parking would be very difficult. It was pleasant enough for an hour or so but there are better beaches north and south of...More

Full of plastic and waste. There are no fish but plastic and glass bottles everywhere. The sea would be lovely but you will suffer from the garbage everywhere. I will not return.

This beach was by far the best one we visited during our stay in Puglia. Small, without the omnipresent beach vendors, and at least in June still pretty empty. The beach is not easily accessible as you have to walk through some paths through the...More

An outstandingly beautiful beach near Otranto has been besotted by ugly infrastructure nearby of cheaper hotels, and mediocre restaurants. I would still visit the beach but stay in a hotel in a better, more exclusive section of the region.
