Walking through a pine forest you can get to the white sandy and cliffy beaches. The turquoise water is clear and amazing. Good place for families with small children too. Take some food and drink with you, because there are no restaurants/bars to drink or...More

Baia dei Turchi is a nice sandy beach, very close to Otranto (10 - 15 minutes by car). Pretty busy in the summer period July-August, but definitely worth of visiting.

For those who are not familiar with stunning Mediterranean sea (ocean people) you’ll have a blast! Beautiful sandy beach, turquoise waters at ideal temperature, immersed in nature. Definitely try going by bike. Just beautiful experience.

Perfect beach with fine white sand and very turquoise water. A bit of a trek through the pine forest to get there, but well worth it. Coffee, ice cream and sandwiches can be bought at the small bar at the beach.

Very beautiful beach with Clean and blue Water. Perfect but we had to pay for parking and to use the umbrella and chairs. But the beautiful place worth the price.

We went to Baia dei Turchi. We parked the car at around 1 km from there (maybe less). The way to go to the beach was dirty. Maybe because it is not the high season, so not cleaned. Then the beach was ok ish. Nothing...More

I walked from the very beginning of Baia dei Turchi beach to Alimini (which I preferred) a couple of weeks ago. It took me about 60-90 minutes one way. It wasn't too hot so the walk was very pleasant and I dipped a couple of... More
