There is not that much to see in Galatina, but this church is a must see. Not so impressive from the putside, but famous for the paintings at the inside. Each part of the chrch has been painted. It looks like a major museum. Recommended.

The Basilica Chiesi di S Caterina has spectacular Giotto influenced frescoes. 14/15 C but I think my favourite are around the cloister.

This church is a hidden gem in the historical center of Galatina. I live in the area and I took there all my friends that came here for vacation. The painting will leave you speechless!! Just google it ...

This is just fantastic. Interior of the church is covered in high quality 14 th century frescoes - sometimes described as the Assisi of the south- and justifiably.
