4th visit to Rethymno but we keep getting the bus to Episkopi. Lovely quiet beach with free sun beds and a lovely taverna (the second one along as you get off the bus). It always gets windy in the afternoon which is lovely.

Visited several times over a 2 week period. Clean beach, free beds & umbrellas. Lifeguard patrols. Relaxed atmosphere & you don't feel like everyone is on top of you.

Good family beach. Lots of sun loungers and umbrellas. Some bigish waves, but with a bit of a drop at the beginning, but nothing bad.

Nice place. Not very crowded even in july. A bit windy and shadow making trees on the coastline so one can escape the sun a bit. Many restaurants offering Services just by the beach. A good place to spend a day.

Really enjoyed this beach. Water clean and clear. Pebbly underfoot once in the glorious water; super hot sand so bring beach shoes to get from sunbeds to shore. Just a note: the water gets deep quickly, so prepare accordingly with kids. Went there on a...More
