Nice castle located in 14 km from Dresden. Originally was built as hunting lodge for Saxon prince-elector. Became very famous aftter Polish fairy-taleThree Nuts for Cinderella, wich was filmed in it. Castle is surrounded with forest suitable for long walks (especially in spring or autumn)....More

You can only visit the place with a German-only speaking guide at fixed hours. You have to wait until the guide finishes talking in a language you don't understand to move to another room. Besides, they make you wear white gloves and huge slippers, which...More

While it was quite a walk to get to, we had a lovely time walking around the castle and it's grounds. The little cafe was lovely, and the lighthouse is a great place to take photos.

On the castle Moritzburg are a lot of people, if we want to cald down a bit this place is perfekt. Around is nice architecture, park and a lot of birds near by the river.

This beautiful small garden castle is really very fotogenic.Especially wiew from a lighthouse is perfect.Nice garden around is well stilysed and walk around is quite romantic.
