Set in a lovely small gorge, the water shoots over several rocks down. Especially spectacular in Winter when frozen.
Good start for shorter and longer hikes up the valley with Moraines from the Glacier times and explanations how they floatet wood down the valley.
This is a beautiful spot! Plan at least one hour, especially if you want to walk. Various walks are available, though I could not find a toilet near the car park.

This is worth a visit if you are in the area (and like waterfalls). I wouldn't make it the whole point of the visit to Mezenschwand, but it's a great addition to a some fantastic walking. There's a secure path to follow, and great views...More
