Tekapo springs was a little disappointing, I was expecting something like Hanmer Springs in the north island. There are several pools with the hottest being 39 degrees. It is gas heated so they are not mineral springs. |The hottest pool is adults only and there is a water play area for the children which they enjoyed. The water slide was... More

Good place to relax after hiking or biking. Facilities are quite old. 5 pools, only 1 sauna and 1 steam cabin. Easy walk from campground.

Tekapo Star Gazing is a new business that has been open for one month at Tekapo Springs in Lake Tekapo. The powers to be decided to open the hot water springs at night to enjoy the skies of the Southern Hemisphere. The program started with a 40 minute conversation on the outside deck with a staff that had good knowledge... More

Tekapo Springs are very good choice to soak, relax and enjoy the Lake Tekapo view, several pools with different temperature of choice. Not cheap, have showers and paid lockers available.

Visited whilst staying at nearby holiday park. Enjoyed the soak after walking in Mount Cook area the previous day. We opted for just adult hot pools rather then giant water slide. The cost isn't cheap, I was expecting the changing rooms to be a little better for the price. They were fairly basic; the hairdryer was also not working. The... More

Great facility, but again very expensive, says wheelchair friendly, not really, even had hard enough time with walking stick, wife and kids loved it so thats main thing, maybe they need to put some of the money they charge into accessibility for All people.

My husband and I enjoyed relaxing in the various hot pools while our children had fun on the largest inflatable waterslide in the Southern Hemisphere. Lockers were available for hire and all the pools were supervised by life guards. The complex was clean, not overly busy and the staff were all very nice. Overall, a great family afternoon.

This place is so relaxing and excellent after a long drive. Soaking in the hot pools looking over the lake at sunset? Mother may I! I love a hot bath, and being on the road living in a Wicked campervan with a foam mattress for a bed for 5 weeks can take it's toll, this is the closest thing to... More
