We passed through this shop whilst staying nearby. The staff were absolutely delightful engaging and genuinely interested in who we were. The shop isn't cheap, however the products are very good quality and unique.

We looked around and as usual the prices seemed just as high as any other gift shop. We bought a lotion, which was for$12 and it was worth it not sure about the wifi because we couldn’t connect to it, but its best to ask them about it.

The plus side is the shop caters to the Asian tourists that are disgorged here by the bus load and feed into either the Japanese restaurant or the Chinese restaurant next door. I heard sales staff speaking in Mandarin and Japanese while walking around. On the whole, lots of typical trinkets. Having already driven round various towns, I did not find their prices to be low. I picked up a licensed Rugby shirt that was $30 NZ higher than a sports shop in Wanaka and $20 higher than the airport shop in Christchurch. I mentioned that to a sales lady and she just smiled,…

This store has so many different gifts available! I was able to find some very cute gifts to take home, and was very pleased. It's a great one-stop shop for souvenirs, and the staff were also friendly and helpful.
