What an amazing experience. It was so lovely getting to know the horse and spending time learning about each other before embarking on a stunning ride - the mutual trust was there 100%. Tiare is a beauty and I hated leaving her at the end of the trek!
Beautiful horses, really well led tour with a great chance to learn about walking, leading, brushing, saddling. Fantastic day in the Bay.

Dziidra was a knowledgeable and obliging host, she was easy to contact and very responsive,. Dzidra chose the horse to suit the rider and , as beginner riders ,we have been laughing since at how our horses mostly controlled us !!!
The river crossing was great as was the beach ride , it was also lovely to see how much Dzidra cared about her horses.

This horse riding experience was thoroughly enjoyable. As a beginner horse rider I was very well looked after and my needs were individually catered for. Fantastic communication and encouragement from the guide and well trained horses. Would highly recommend this experience whilst in Hawke's Bay!

I had such a great time on this ride - with beautiful weather, scenery & an individually catered experience with lots of variety. I found there was great, clear communication including the style of the ride (bitless & western saddle) & the cues the horses best respond to.
I had a fantastic time from start to finish!! I would definitely recommend Dzidra & Boutique Horse Treks, & I’m looking forward to going back again sometime soon!

A nice horse ride on the beach and next to a wetland where you can get wet in the ocean! The ride was done according to my ability which was great, and though there was some confusing communication to start with, it was good to be picked up from in town. One of the great things about this ride was how you get to get your horse from the paddock and assist from start to finish, which is not something many places offer.

I booked a trek for my daughter and wife. Dealing with Dzidra was very easy. The trek got the thumbs up. The set up was good, the horses very friendly. It’s a perfect trek for beginners.

The whole process was easy and reassuring, from booking with Dzidra, who was very understanding ans reassuring with all my tedious questions.
On Sunday afternoon we went on a beach tour. We were both total novices and very nervous, but Marcella, our guide, was amazing. We learned to walk the horses, and walked on the rocky beach as well as through the wetlands and we enjoyed our tour very much! A totally new experience and definitely highly recommend if you're in the Hawkes Bay area, to get amonst it and go for a horse trek.

We have just done this trek and it was great fun! Good for beginners as you are always made to feel safe, whilst learning. Still great if you have some experience riding, as it is a lovely route you take. We were lucky enough to experience a beautiful HB sunset whilst out. Would recommend to do this whilst in the area. Thank you! 😊

Second time doing this horse trek. My daughter and her friend loved going along the beach. The trek guide was so lovely and horse so calm.

How do I get there from a Cruise Line? How far is it? What would be the cost to pay for transportation from the Cruise Line to your location. Price there and back please.
Do you provide a cheaper rate for larger groups (10 people)

Hi. I help with the cruise passengers in Napier (not associated with boutique treks). We have had people go from Napier to this area many times but their method has been a taxi. In saying that, book ahead with a taxi company and with such a large group it won't cost too much. I hope this helps.

How do I arrange to get there from a Cruise line?
Uber is now here in HB..... It is much less expensive then taxi's. Call Uber!
is there a Weight restriction?
Yes, 105 kilos is the maximum.
