The walk up to the medieval castle on the cobbled streets is stunning and the view out to sea equally beautiful. Local musicians often perform whilst street vendors quietly sell trinkets. Many restaurants and shops line the streets. A must for any visit to the...More

A lovely walk up in the morning or late afternoon through windy little streets to reach the vantage point of Agropoli. Peace and calm reign. Not much besides the ruins, but greatly evocative of bygone times.

Highly recommend taking the time to stroll around the old town of Agropoli. The harbour keeps peeking into view round windy streets and the buildings are something else.

Great views to the bay and lovely touch to the past of the Italian history. Highly recommended if you visit Agropoli anyway or pass it nearby. Not worth of traveling if you have to travel to Agropoli more than an hour.

hi Eddie. the burgo is a small medieval part of the town and therefore steep, narrow lanes and also steps to access different parts. Perhaps I can suggest an alternative visit.
