I stayed in Agropoli Oct 10-11 mainly to visit nearby Paestum. But I also wanted to see the old town and eat out. Reportedly people have lived in the area of the Agropoli old town for centuries B.C., even before Paestum was settled by the...More

Loved the atmosphere and the views onto the bay! We met a norwegian lady living there and we helped a group of kids in retrieving their football stuck on a wall!

This great Centro Storico is the only place to experience Agropoli. It's the best way to get a real sense of the wonderful people living in this quarter, the views are breathtaking, this is just a very special place to live in.

Go during nap time. There is no one up there and you have the whole place to yourself. Granted no shops will be open but the views are great.

hi Eddie. the burgo is a small medieval part of the town and therefore steep, narrow lanes and also steps to access different parts. Perhaps I can suggest an alternative visit.
