    Do It in Cromwell
Actually we picked cherries in January 2022 and did a takeaway...but reason for this review is the REALLY amazingly quick courier service...Son Nick picked them just a day ago and we had them delivered to our front door 18 hours later ..Cromwell to Paihia in Northland. Well done on choosing a great courier company !! Paul

    Place for serious cherry pickers.
Sure this is an excellent place if you want 1 or 2 kilos plus of cherries. We were 4 adults and a baby on holiday from the UK so didn't want 4 kgs. Staff were polite and friendly but we couldn't pick a small bucket and experience a walk in the cherry orchard.

A year on from our last visit, we were welcomed back to enjoy a quick 30 minute pick of 5 kgs of cherries. It could have been quicker but was chatted and weren't in a hurry albeit we had a plane to catch later in the day. Great service, courier back home and awesome cherries despite a couple of weather events having affected some of the cherries this year. we love this activity and may have to online order next year! A family activity...

Central Otago had major flooding and rain which badly damaged the cherry harvest (split cherries). We stopped in for pyo cherries and they were charging $16 per kg (min 1 kg per adult). In my opinion, this was just far too much and were ripping off tourists. Across the road with the same damaged cherries, it was $10 per kg and no minimum. Much better deal and no feeling of being ripped off. As a comparison, Supermarkets sell around $14 per kg. In this day of Covid, be weary of places like this, you can do much better.

Cheeki cherries has been the same price for the past 3 years, we do also offer cherries from $5 per kilo and these are the damaged cherries from the extreme weather we have had in 2021, that is 1/2 the price as the other orchard you are referring to. Our customers are still picking some stunning fruit and if you and taken your time in the orchard you would have also picked some great fruit. You will also find the cheapest real fruit ice creams in Cromwell and very cheap stone fruit. Cheeki also offers a courier service, picnic tables, kids play ground, tree hut and great customer service If you want to you could take your family for a day out at the supermarket and buy pre packed fruit and then have a picnic in the carpark.

These are the most amazing NZ cherries. They can be ordered online and delivered directly to your door. I've been ordering for 2 years now and I keep coming back for more! I've tried other cherry suppliers and these are THE BEST. Owners are super helpful and responsive. I cannot recommend these highly enough.

A must do during cherry picking season - we were welcomed by friendly staff right from the minute we walked into their packing area/shop. We drove the half hour or so from Arrowtown to Cromwell en route to Bluff to Cheeki Cherries having heard about this must do activity. We have picked fruit before, but not cherries so we were given a brief lesson and a bucket that holds 5kgs and off we went. There are plentiful ladders that are safe and easy to use, even for us 60+ year olds. The picking was easy and plentiful options that didn't require a ladder too. We had the orchard to ourselves along with a couple of other family groups. In less than half an hour we had picked a bucket full, having sampled a few whilst picking. The staff were so obliging and offered an amazing service and even recommended a great cafe for us to try after-picking our cherries. It is so nice to meet such wonderful people. We highly recommend this activity whilst in Cromwell!

Had been to Queenstown and on our way to Cromwell , we were luck to spot the Pick Your own cherries, it was the first day of the pick. Had a great fun.

On our way back to home , just realized it was the same place we had ordered cherries last Christmas. Gave a call to Martin ,if I could get the white cherries this time as well. And here it is a 5Kg box of Yum white cherries.

Thanks a lot Martin for sending me yummy white cherries. Amazing person.

Waiting for the next 5 Kg of red cherries.

If anyone whats to order cherries , do contact them , you wont be disappointed.
