Off the beaten track, wine tasting in the hall of the house. Unusual but the wine is superb. No pretention, some wineries are ridiculous. This is about the wine and it is good. We tasted and purchased Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris. Both were outstanding,...More

Not every day you get to taste what seems like someone's personal collection. The tasting is in their home, in the entrance. 2 wines - be brought 2 Pinot Gris and 1 Pinot Noir. Both great wines. Thanks for sharing your passion.

Highly recommend a visit to Gate 20 Two! Set amongst stunning vineyards, this winery will impress even the fussiest critics. The single vineyard Pinot Noir was our favourite Pinot in NZ and the owner was very informative! Nice to visit somewhere that feels less touristy!!

This local vineyard is not over the top commercial, they do not run the business purely as a attraction and yet when deciding which vineyards to see on our tour we chose to visit the winery for this reason. Off the beaten track and not...More

Tasting setting is the foyer of their house - but they are very welcoming. The pinot gris is quite a different style to other NZ wines - almost more grigio. The pinot noir is excellent - and both are well priced - especially as they...More

As part of our wine tasting trail we decided to try this one on our way to Mt Difficulty. It's in a really nice spot, with very friendly cellar door. It's not as big and flashy as some of the others, but I'd still highly...More

The wines are superb and crafted by (only a few) loving hands. This is a small, boutique winery that is all about the wine. The cellar door is also the front door. It's a must visit.
