We will start this magnificent journey at the pier of Clube Naval de Portimão. After a warm welcome, our staff will explain some security procedures.

Then, we will start our journey towards the famous Benagil Cave. Along the way, we will see beautiful caves and hear old stories. Hopefully, we get to see our great friends, the “dolphins” – All our vessels are equipped with VHF Radio and will be operating in the same channel as the dolphin watching boats so if they are spotted, which is very frequent in our coast, and they are within 2 nautical miles we will take you to see them.

After we will visit the World Famous Nature Reserve in Alvor, with amazing and breathtaking views, with some luck we will spot some pink flamingos and other species, the Alvor Estuary is one of the finest places on the Algarve for birdwatching, we will be looking the protected marshlands of Ria de Alvor Nature Reserve, while to the south is the Praia do Alvor, one of the largest sandy beaches of the Algarve.

When you visit Alvor, the boardwalk is a must do,it connects the beach with the town via the nature reserve. My wife and I walked it every day of our holiday and you don't be long clocking up your 10,000 steps. We love it.😎😎

The boardwalk winds around a dune system which separates the estuary from the sea. Plenty of viewing points allow good views of various watery sites, and therefore good opportunities to see bird life. The rich flora of the dune system can also be appreciated without damaging it
