Lovely old building with authentic equipment. The whole building exudes a sense of age. Fascinating to explore and free entry. The olive gardens across the road are also worth a visit as they are peaceful with some really old trees.

we'd thought the olive oil museum was the closed building next to the Hotel de Moura - but thankfully looked a bit harder for the olive garden and while seeing that was closed (more later) we saw an open building opposite and there was a...More

Very nice little museum of an old olive factory. The whole proces of producing olives is explained in Portugese and a little English. Very interesting.You can buy cheep and 1th quality oliveoil at the Cooperativa 5 minutes walking.
