Eagle's Nest is a great place to see Geiranger and several of the surrounding falls. A beautiful platform has been constructed into the mountain, including a diverted waterfall, for the best viewing. The weather wasn't great on the day that we were there, but that...More

The parking place is tiny. But you must stop, because the view is excellent. Be carefull with children when crossing the road.

By whatever means you have available, you have to witness this view. I hired a little electric car from a local establishment in Geiranger which was an excellent way to see the views with enough time to stop and take it all in. The hairpin...More

When we started from Geiranger village the bus drove along the Ornevegen towards Eidsdal. We made a stop at a view point to admire the Geiranger village, the Ornevegen and the waterfall Seven Sisters. Ornevegen has many nice hair pin bends, but isn’t as spectacular...More

The hairpin turns and steepness of the slopes made the visit to the fjords fun and exciting! It made us marvel at the skills of the coach drivers and provided great photo moments!

Eagle's bend, eagle's curve or hairpin turns are some of the name people use to describe this road on the opposite of the Dalsnibba mountain. You can see the fjord from a different angle and get some fantastic views from the viewpoint.

Hi again, or try to rent a car, if you can drive a car. I don't know how expensive that will be. Should it not be trilling to drive the "Trollstigen" by yourself? I drove the "Trollstigen" for 20 years ago.
