The waterfalls in the fjord are all spectacular and cascade down from a great height. They are probably best seen from a ship in the fjord such as the Fjord 1 or a cruise ship, where you can appreciate the falls and the fjord itself....More

The Seven Sisters Waterfall is best seen from the Fjord and probably during the spring when the snow will be melting and feeding the waterfall. I gave it an average mark as the water level was low so not that much water cascading, but I...More

No traffic in the fjord ... so our Royal Caribbean captain stopped the ship and turned it slowly so we got views from every angle. Beautiful!!

I expect views differ as to where is best to view the Sisters, we were able to view from the deck of ferry Fjord-1, which gave us close up views. The dry summer has restricted the flows of water here (as in England) but we...More

Only 3 of seven waterfalls spotted due to dry summer. Others who had been there before commented that it wasn't so spectacular. To me it was beautiful even though nature was in charge

Wednesday 5th September and we were sailing up the Geiranger Fjord to the town of Geiranger aboard the Celebrity Silhouette cruise ship. This was our third stop of our cruise of the Norwegian Fjords. About an hour before arriving in Geiranger, there was an announcement...More

Never knew that visiting the 7 Sisters in the fall would mean that 3 of the Sisters were on vacation until spring and the other 4 Sisters were just trickling. The Suitor Falls were a lot prettier.
