2 museums in one. The Archaeological Museum traces the history of human presence in the Media Valle dell'Albegna. The visit starts from pre-history to reach the Etruscan age testimonies: the villages archaic and the fortified center of Ghiaccioforte, located in the Scansano area. The tour continues with the Roman age: there are some reconstructions and images of the Roman villa that is close to the Aia Nova farm, still in the town of Scansano. The Museum of the Vine and Wine is directed to information on wine products and the culture and traditions of the area. The museum is divided into several sections: historical, productions, the "vine and wine cycle", traditions, information.
