    Busy & Engaging
This is the centre of one of Puglia's "white towns". It's a large place from which radiate many roads and side-streets. The busiest one is the street leading uphill to the cathedral, lines with shops and cafes. The most obvious building is the impressive town hall, but there is plenty else to see around the square, including the statue of the saint atop a large column. Busy, a bit touristy, but a nice vibe.

    Lively lovely main square
This is the very central square in Ostuni White City. In the center is the obelisk monument to St. Oronzo, local saint accompanied with Town Hall and St. Francis of Assisi Church. The square is popular at night as a gathering place with numerous bars and restaurants around.

A nice old square with an obelisk
In the heart of the Old Town is located this nice old square with lots of famous buildings: eg.: Palazzo del Municipio. It’s a meeting point for, very popular with locals and tourists. There are some very good cafes, bars and restaurants. In the middle of the square a Baroque-style obelisk stands: the spire of Sant’Oronzo. It was made from limestone in the mid-700s and it is more than 20 metres high. Earlier (until 14th century) the name of the square was Piazza Sant'Oronzo.

This is the lively center of the city. It is bounded by a fourteenth century church and former convent, which is now the Municipal Building.

It is vibrant and active well into the evening, and takes on a different feel as the buildings are bathed in light.

Lovely walk around and transformed into a lively energy bustle of families, tourists, and restaurant chairs on summer evenings.

This is a great location for a coffee break and people watching. Shops line the square and it serves as the center of the town.

I could have sat in this Piazza all day for days on end. Lively and great people watching - especially with an aperol spritz.

Nice place to relax and have an icecream or a beer. It is nice given the buzz around and there are bars and gelataria. This place has nice shadow so perfect to relax on a superhot day in Ostuni.

There’s no better place in town to start your evening and enjoy the golden-hour than Ostuni’s Piazza della Libertà. An aperol spritz, some green olives, peanuts (with a spoon to serve yourself) and taralli. You can’t help but feel Italian.
