This is the place to be in Ostuni. It is on the coll between the hill forming the old town and the hill that is the web of narrow backstreets. It is where marriage gatherings occur, tourists congregate. Pretty much the centre of Ostunian activity.

A huge variety of different restaurants offering a most diverse range of dining experiences. In our experience it is unsurpassed by anywhere we have been before in Italy, Sardinia, Sicily and elsewhere both in terms of dining experience and value for money.

Piazza Della Liberta is a very nice place to hang out when you're visiting Ostuni. There are bars and cafes to relax and have something to eat with a glass of wine or a beer.

Nice big square in the town of Ostuni. Great to soak up the atmosphere and to stroll around. People watch. Nice to drop by if in the area.

Beautiful spot to stop and rest in the heat of the midday sun. Perfect Gelato and Iced Peach Tea for my husband and me, comfy seating as so many are not so that was a bonus. Plenty of people watching as always!

Nothing much to say apart from the roads meet at this point so it can be quite polluted.Mostly full of tourists which was a surprise at this time of year.Costs in cafes here reflect the tourism. If you want a proper taste of real Italy, don't bother

It is the center of town and is an impressive square but the old town with its white buildings and narrow streets is far better. The bus from the station stops here so it is a starting point for walking through the town.

After you walk up to the cathedral and look at the various shops, sit down at one of the cafes for a gelato or espresso. The square is a great place to people watch, relax and enjoy the day.

We found it easiest to park on the outskirts of Ostuni and walk into the centre to the Piazza della Liberta, but for those with walking difficulties the Piazza is the place to hire the very attractive Piaggio 3 wheeled taxi to put, put its...More

Also very short walk to the cathedral , and if you're looking for a special place to eat or drink something: you must try Coffee and More (nice music, delicious food and warm owners) (see review on this place )!
