Hike up the hill to the archeological museum and the Cathedral. Definitely worth it, though disregard the old lady in the church's suggestions for a cafe. The area is lovely. Have lunch at a local pizzeria, you can't really go wrong.

Definitely worth an excursion, needs a good half day to experience the winding streets , interesting buildings a the wonderful views from the ramparts.
