The "natural pools" in the village of Mosterios are a fabulous experience. Worth the trip when you are in the north west. Well signposted, good free parking even in high season. As these are rock pools, I recommend sandals to walk across lava rock. No...More

The beach/pool is very popular with locals. There is a natural enclosed area or "pool" as they call it, with ladder for an easy descend. There is a cafe with great view nearby, picnic tables + lots of parking right across the street.

We used our webcam app to check the weather before driving out. We put towels over the windows of our car and changed in the car (lots of others doing the same). Park at the viewpoint and walk down. Water cool but refreshing. Neat experience!

The day we were here the sea was pretty rough and so the pools were more or less covered. The waves were also very rough and you would not think of getting into the sea. A volcanic beach wit great views.

Just a couple of Km from the village, this is a treasure. Somehow the lava going down to the ocean left a “pothole” that can be filled by the rising tide but also has an outlet on one side that keeps the waters in the...More

Water pools best at high tide. Definitely need water shoes and be fairly nimble to get to pools. Still enjoyable but not a place for families with younger children. Water Closet on site.

It was very interesting to bath in geothermally heated up to more then 30 degrees. Changing rooms are a little bit dirty, but there is nice toilet in the building by parking. better to have shoes to water.
