A very interesting place to visit when being in Landsberg. It is beautiful on the outside and the view from the tower is really nice.

If you are in Landsberg it is worth a walk from the town across the bridge to the other side of the river to marvel at this tower. In the UK this would be referred to as a folly as it was built just over...More

No tours or anything, but was a fun (tiny) castle to visit. The kids loved it. Almost no tourists so we got to really check it out without feeling hurried. Great for photos!

This building is dated to 1844. Built by Hubert von Herkomer, it was built as an atelier. The tuff brick structure is nice to see.

There is a nice parking lot right next to Mutterturm. You can walk up to it or take the path down to the little waterfall with the town behind it. Good base to sit and relax with the beautiful view of the town.

If you would think that here is everything from the middle age, you are wrong. This tower was built around 1800, but it is still a very nice structure.

Built by a wealthy Englishman during the 1800's to commemorate his mother, this is one of the most beautiful structures to see in Landsberg, the town in which I was born and raised, but have not lived in since 1960. Always a treat to go...More
