This is a riverboat starting & ending spot. The town has several street art bronzes and many fun local stores. We liked the Army store where you could buy a handsome beer stein or see live aquarium fish and parakeets and the large toy shop....More

Vilshaven is a starting/stopping place for Danube river cruises, and has a pleasant little old town worth a brief visit you have the time.

Au kitchen is such a pretty church. It is typical in style and architecture of man Bavarian churches, but it's setting makes it special fronting on to the river on one side. Inside Otis ornate and will not disappoint the visitor.
