Pleasant interlude, still a private attraction, you need to speak French to get the best out of it. Some parts of the Chateux are good and some show struggles for upkeep

This is a very nice Chateau. I think they are in the process of improving so don't go expecting Chatsworth House. The gardens were nice to work around. There is a very small tea room. We toured the house, four rooms and saw the most fantastic...More

I wouldn't go out of my way to this location for the structure. It's not particularly pretty or well maintained. Also, they provided a sampling of apple pie type of pastry, also not particularly good. The courtyard affords a taste of the original architecture as...More

We came here for a picnic tea after a tiring time in the packed Monet Gardens. Really lovely and peaceful, but such a pity that many of the water channels and at least two fountains are not working. Probably a question of cost for this...More

The chateau has gone through many constructive phases in different ages. The guides explain why and how and by whom the chateau has been inhabited. It will be worth your while if you can see through the stories that are being told.

We drove over from Giverny parked in free lot across bridge from town & walked to the Chateau Bizy, which is a little bit of. A long walk back & forth { note the under rail walking path shortens the path.} We enjoyed the guided...More

Part of our river Cruise on the Seine. The chateau is a little gem and provides more than the usual tour. We had fn trying to identify scent from the gardens, picked a posey, heard the history from a man in period costume (sounds cheesy...More
