This is an old castle still privately owned that seems to be rented out for functions as the castle was closed the afternoon we have been there. We enjoyed the walk through the park and looking at the old fountain and enjoying the history of...More

We stopped off here by chance and unfortunately missed out on the tour as we were late for an appointment. However we did get to wander around the gardens. The chateau has been in the hands of the same family for generations. There are some...More

We enjoyed a wonderful and private family luncheon at the Château de Bizy. The food we chose was delicious and appropriately priced. What better way to spend time with family than lunch in a castle! And the gardens are great too!

Pleasant interlude, still a private attraction, you need to speak French to get the best out of it. Some parts of the Chateux are good and some show struggles for upkeep

This place stands out mostly for its beautiful English garden. The French and Italian sections of the garden are by no means as pretty. The castle itself it not very charming. Worst of all, the guide - you can only visit the castle in a...More

On the edge of Vernon, this beautiful Chateau and extensive landscaped grounds is breathtaking, peaceful and for just €9 you get an English or French speaking guide which gives you an hour or more of calm and pleasure. Easy parking and a wonderful visit for...More

I wouldn't go out of my way to this location for the structure. It's not particularly pretty or well maintained. Also, they provided a sampling of apple pie type of pastry, also not particularly good. The courtyard affords a taste of the original architecture as...More

We came here for a picnic tea after a tiring time in the packed Monet Gardens. Really lovely and peaceful, but such a pity that many of the water channels and at least two fountains are not working. Probably a question of cost for this...More
