It’s very simple inside but feels like a church that still has a congregation. We spoke to the gentleman and lady inside, good to see someone in attendance.

The church was unfortunately closed but we enjoyed walking round the old town which is quite atmospheric

Sadly we arrived too early on a Sunday morning and the tower was closed. We managed a walk around on ground level and went in to the cemetery. It seems to be the custom here to have photos on headstones which made the visit much more emotional for me. The grounds are well maintained and although we were unable to climb the tower it was still worth the visit. In the side garden is a 3 faced statue that is interesting. There are a few benches where you can sit and rest once you've made the climb. This is more suitable for adults than children. We may go again next year but will aim for an afternoon visit so we can attempt the climb.…
