Glad I visited. I personally loved it, even more than the much acclaimed Abbey Falls. This lies in the heart of coffee and herb plantations of Chelavara Village, about an hour's drive from Madikeri city.

The water flow was less in April'2018 but the water was clear and pure, means free from dirt pollution etc. Enjoyed the bath along with my son and the water was really cold carry necessary clothing to make yourself warm. Awesome expirence.

It's a serene, steady waterfall amidst the beautiful coffee plants. Located in an interior place. Beautiful place. Really liked it a lot.

Government has banned access to the water by putting barbwire and a notice board. Some local told me water used to more than Abbey falls. But we saw the opposite, only a stream flowing there. Ride from main coorg city to this fall is amazing...More
