We parked near the Zavizan hut and a local driver, Dragomir (+358 98 912 6644), drove us to the Alan "Hut" (cost 400 Kuna). We then walked back to the car park, about 14 km in total. It took us 6.5 hours, with a stop...More

Great trail well laid out and easy to walk: it winds it’s way from zavizan to Alan huts and avoids the peaks (but you can divert and climb some if you want with some great scrambles and views). We did 2 different day walks one...More

This is the most popular hike through the Northern Velebit National Park and for most it is the best hiking trail in all of Croatia. The path is very well marked and well made so anyone can undertake it, though it is long and there's...More

We visited today in Premuzic trail. It was the experience! We started from Zavizan hut. We went there by the car. The road was in good condition. At the Zavizan parking place we wore wind coats, trousers and trekking shoes. You can easily manage with...More

This is really nice area to explore. Very cheap entry tickets to national Park, amasing scenery with mountains and seaside view towards the south, makes this trail one of most beatiful scenic routes in Croatia

Its a really nice trail- not to difficult, that starts at Zavižan. You should though have trekking shoes. On Zavižan and Alan there are also mountain dorms, where you can sleep or eat something.

I visited Premuzic Trail several times. It is better to walk it in when there is no snow on the ground. Stunning views all along the trail. The possibility to start at both ends or break the walk into several sections makes this trail good...More

One of the most beautiful paths through wilderness in the world called "Premužićeva staza". The start is a few minutes walk from the parking just beneath the mountain house "Zavižan". It stretches through whole of the national park and goes all the way to the...More

Premuzic Trail is not in Rijeka. It is on the mountain Velebit, starting in the National Park Sjeverni ( meaning north) Velebit. Rijeka is a town on the Adriatic coast and this trail is in the wilderness, starts from near Zavizan. Mr. Premuzic was the...More
