Rode the Ngaurawahia section of Te Awa this morning. And it is just beautiful. Lovely views of the river and the confluence with the Waipa river. Clean track. Very easy to ride. Met some lovely people. Highly recommend it.

While this is a top attraction for walkers and cyclists with the stunning Avantidrome at one end and lake Karapiro at the other, it is not accessible for all people in the community and that is disappointing. The extra wide pathways are fantastic and allow...More

Another one of the many special walks around Cambridge. We walked our 2 dogs, it's a wide concrete path plenty of room for runners or cyclists to pass.

Such a great way to spend a day in Hamilton or Cambridge! Stunning views, easy riding or walking. Take a picnic and spend the day lakeside in Cambridge (watching the rowers on Lake Karapiro!) or along the river in/north of Hamilton - great day out!

We walked the section from Ngarawahia into Hamilton as we walked a section of Te Araroa. Beautiful walk, if a bit hard on the feet as it is all paved. Perhaps better on a bike. One short section is incomplete and necessitates a road walk.

At the northern end of the ride is a wonderful bike park for all ages. They can choose from the sealed " road layout" with Stop and Give Way signs to the undulating dirt track. There is even a cafe in the complex = fun...More

Great ride or walk if you have a couple of spare hours. Quiet and easy away from traffic. Best of all there is a cafe at the end.

Great thing to do when in Cambridge. Lovely scenic biking track along the river, nice wide paths to allow traffic both ways. Picnic tables and rest areas to enjoy the view. I struggled with the hill at the end, but you can always get off...More
