Always a highlight of a trip to Orkney. So glad that John is back to carving his beautiful birds and there's a great range of artwork on display as well. Warm friendly atmosphere, it's like visiting old friends.

Only give this two as we visited it twice and it was shut on both occasions. Find out if it is open before you go.Dissapointed as the bird sculptures look great and we travelled a long way.....

Small workshop and gallery worth a stop on the way back from Brough of Birsay. John specializes is wood carvings and Lesley in painting. Both are trained in their craft. Excellent art. They will ship.

We visited this beautiful gallery in the north east of Mainland Orkney near Birsay. Easy to find, just follow the signs and look out for the brighg yellow flag. The gallery has beautiful, original pieces of art depicting the many birds and landscapes of Orkney....More
