Worth having a look at and a picture whilst visiting Coggeshall. We had a nice walk around the village and came across this in the centre of the village.

My family and I were at the Clockhouse last week. What a lovely bar/restaurant! so quaint. Staff were friendly and attentive. The food was good and they had a varied vegan menu. My son was pleased! We will definitely pass by again the near future.

excellent lunches available, very nice garden to sit in when the weather is suitable. Good variety of food, nicely served and quick enough to go to in your lunch break. Did have a takeaway lunch the other day which was charged at the same price,...More

We were greeted with a friendly smile and shown straight to our table, traditional Sunday lunch, fsirly budy but service was good. The only fault was the very hard chairs.

Only saw the outside of this unusual building. Makes a pleasant picture for my collection. A little bit of history on a plaque but not sure if you can get to see inside

The menu is limited as might be expected since the place is small. The food is plentiful but ordinary. Service is mixed. I have eaten there three times for a quick lunch and the service has been varied from poor to excellent.
