Sandy beach, clean. Chaise lounge costs 3 € per day. It is important to have beach shoes, because the bottom places with stones.

Nice quiet waters (no waves on a windy day) - not too crowded on a week day. Sandy beach but large flat stones on the waterfront. The west side of the beach will be in the shadows of the buildings after 16 O'clock.

We didn't see anyone fishing at Ligaria beach but there was a dive business that also offered charter fishing at the small beach to the south.
