There are very few details given in Englsh. You can get an English audio guide for €1.50 but even that doesn’t give a lot of explanations. Mostly the audio was about a fellow who collected and preserved Corsican artifacts and handicrafts. Going thru the museum...More

Musee de la Corse main downside, and that is that while introductory text is in English all text that actually tells the story is in French only. All in all that is only to be expected, though, and I think the museum is worth it's...More

We thought from the name (Museum of Corsica), it will give a good overview of the island (history, customs, folklore etc), but for us it seemed just as an exhibition of some artifacts gathered in the area, no real concept. No explanations in English language.

If you can't read French, you can't read anything in the museum. There is a nice view from the citadel. The museum is rather small but is was cheap and OK entertainment voor an hour

Unfortunately , limited explanations in English did not diminish enjoyment, especially old travel posters.

Historical events, culture aspects, geography, persons of interest, well displayed and exhibits well presented, most in French so difficult for English only visitors, glad we had French speaking friend along

The museum itself has a lot of interesting artifacts with detailed descriptions, but the best part was being able to climb up to the citadelle. It has such stunning views of Corte and the surrounding mountains; it’s a must-see! My ticket was only around 5€...More

Architecture more exciting than the content. Great location, good source of info about the history of Corsica. Poor info in English.

Before entering, there was a good translation in English about the Museum. Inside, having paid the entrance charge, the main section had no English translations. A separate section however did. Interesting exhibits of life in former times. Then a history of the connection between Corsica...More
