We saw the illuminated boats which were very good especially the vw beetle the thomas the tank engine the red arrows and finished off the evening with fish & chips and fireworks very enjoyable

went to see the boat illumations 22/09/18,first time we been.it was a brilliant night loved the boats very bright, and the firework display was brilliant. great night out worth a visit

Worth an hour of your time as really part of Matlock Bath. Many water features and pretty gardens as well.

Lovely garden type of walk around, with beautiful water springs and waterfalls, with such amazing greenery and pretty foliage. Not something children would find entertaining, but for adults, it's a relaxing, colourful walk.

This is a really nice, if relatively small, park. There are lots of ponds fed from the natural springs and they are teeming with wildlife. I actually saw newts for the first time in years!

There is no admission charge, except in October when they turn the lights on, they have a bit of a dooo. Dogs are very welcome indeed.

No admission charge most of the year, only time you have to pay to get into the gardens is in the evenings when the illuminations are on, and it all goes to local charity, I think this is at the end of October. Rest of the... More

Yes it is wheelchair friendly no steps. you need to have a strong pair of arms and legs if you intend to push the wheelchairs over the bridges at either end but I have seen plenty of people do it. but the gardens are on the... More
