If you have any interest in Derbyshire this is a must visit to see the work of the Arkwright Trust in preserving this wonderful piece of histry. Built into the comples are antique shops a cafe and other interesting little shops

Mill wasn't working whilst we were there. Appealed more to my Engineering husband. Although it was interesting and passed a bit of time we would like to have seen a demonstration. Situated on the banks of a lovely river.More

Spent a day here after going to matlock and it decided to rain all day. Great place for shopping, lovely cafe which over looks the water, great food especially the jam cream scones.

No, only guide dogs. This is a collection of shops set over a number of floors. Plenty of walks around the area - Cromford Mill is further up the valley and has plenty of areas to walk with dogs and a lovely canal to walk... More
