This is a must see attraction, Rhodes has a great castle and story. It needs a lot of walking and time, almost 4 hours to complete the tour!

It’s an interesting visit to the palace of the grand master of the knights, but it’s not a place with a single style. The knights obviously used multiple materials in building this palace... like Greek columns, which they may have taken from an acropolis nearby....More

Actually, I left the place with some mixed feelings. While the palace is a great example of a medieval fortress, the reconstruction done in the 1940s obviously changed the character a lot, adding some more representative character than it ever had. What disturbed me most...More

Very impressive Castle. Did not go inside though. In my opinion a bit expensive entrance. But from the outside you Can easily spend half an hour exploring the Place.

What a site to visit, truly epic to see what the Templars built and where they lived. Epic to see the fine detail and all of this from 900 years in the past

Only 6 euros to get in to see the spacious rooms that certainly made it feel like a palace... Some nice masonry work but did not really stand out as anything special. Mosaic floors and artifacts but supporting facts did not inspire interest for very...More

The palace is a glorious building, even if it was built for Mussolini (who never visited). For me parts of it were reminiscent of Castle Drogo or even Lindisfarne castle back in the UK. A really light and airy building scattered with ancient artefacts pillaged...More

Stopped here whilst walking round Rhkoes town. The palace is big with lots of history. Some more in formation on what you are looking at inside would be good. Worth a walk around whilst in Rhodes, but not the best attraction, worthit for 6 euro.

I excepted more for a ticket for 6 Euros but it was alright. We didn't stay long. Not more than 45 minutes. We really enjoyed the walk on the walls for only 2 Euros, but be careful you can only visit the walls between 12...More

Not really. The entrance to the walls is outside the main entrance to the Palace and the walk does not finish at the same place you start.
