This is a natural hot spring coming from underground. The indoor part is separated by sex; the women's is small and somewhat tepid for those who enjoy hot springs. For new people in my group, they could only stay about ten minutes without getting out...More

This is the famous church on the rock in Petra. You have to climb up a many stone steps - but you get a beautiful view; better going up at sunset time.

The climb up wasn't so bad, and when we reached the top: magnificent views of petra and surroundings. Church was small, but nicely decorated. Also a very nice caretaker of the church.

114 steps, yes, so don't do it in the heat of the day, try earlyish morning or late afternoon. A lovely church with all the usual wonderful Icons, but plus the great views if Petra.
