The bus from Fira in Santorini takes you right here in about 20 minutes. The sand is black and there are many hidden treasures to find (I went home with a lot of seaglass). There are a ton of restaurants but they are very pushy...More
Pretty beach with a town of souvenir shops and restaurants to go along with it. When we were there late October the surf was pretty strong so families with young kids be aware. Cute town, lovely church and on the bus line for Santorini

It’s a lot better than kamari beach, and it is a lot calmer, and quicker.
Perissa beach looked more welcoming with bars and restaurants across the road from the beach.

This beautiful 7 km black sand beach is in front of honeymoon beach hotel that I have vacationed at for 20 years. A beautiful boardwalk with lots of shopping and nite clubs, water sports galore. You will return here👍❤️
Just a bus ride away from Santorini centre! Spend a few hours relaxing on this black beach. The mountains are your backdrop...the black volcanic sand your carpet...
The water is clean and refreshing. Rent a sun bed for €5 and relax!

Unfortunately it rained just as we set off to go to the black beach. The beach in itself was ok but the weather got worse and so was heavily raining. We did meet some Americans there and so ended up in a nice chat but...More

We didn’t rent a car because the bus is so easy to use. We went from Perissa Beach, to Fira and then to Oía, all with the bus and it was like 2-3 euros each way. Very easy and didn’t have to bother with driving
