My partner and I visited Perissa Beach yesterday, and it was truly wonderful. It was a very windy day in Santorini which meant there were a couple of small waves in the water, but it was still a very pleasant day to lay on the...More

The black sand beach in Santorini. The view is amazing. The water is so clean and blue, as blue as the sky.

One of the few sandy beaches in Santorini. Many beach bars and restaurants that let patrons use their chairs and umbrellas for free. Drinks not too expensive. Some souvenir shops and mini markets on the street to get beach essentials. Beautiful natural scenery.

A nice beach with a varied choice of restaurants and the typical black sand which sets Santorini apart. We found it relaxing, clean, and the service was friendly.

We had a great time on the black sand beach relaxing and swimming in the water. There were plenty of fish to see while snorkelling and there were many places that served food on the beach while we relaxed.

We didn’t rent a car because the bus is so easy to use. We went from Perissa Beach, to Fira and then to Oía, all with the bus and it was like 2-3 euros each way. Very easy and didn’t have to bother with driving

The boat trips are leaving from the port. Ususlly will have a transfer from your hotel or from a pick-up point, arranged by the travel office who sold you the boat trip.

I don’t think it’s walkable. Take a bus to a junction, there’s a walk to the lighthouse.
