Not overly big is nice and peaceful , can play tennis or bowling lots of benches to sit and watch people and nice little cafe dont do much soup sandwich chocolate crisps lollies, huge field so could take kids and football or bbq ifu have...More

The botanical gardens offers a great deal to anyone who is visiting tennis, football, bowls, park and a cafe/tea room it's well maintained and popular I would like to see some modernisation of the park and possible some more fitness equipment on the playing fields...More

As I love gardens, title bit misleading...it's a lovely garden for quick wander, unfortunately conservatory cafe not open till afternoon which on reading I'd like to have supported as community and sign said bit about rent increases etc. Kids playground on site and free parking...More

free entry. childrens park. fields play area, picnic and pond along with flowers and trees to browse at. green bowling and café and toilets. local shops nearby . ample parking around the area.

Play area for children, tennis courts, grass bowls, lovely gardens to walk around. Football pitch. Nice cheap cafe fir drinks and snacks.

This is off the beaten track, but not to be missed by holiday makers and day trippers, I wish it was adverstized more in Town, it is lovely to walk around enjoying the flowers, and has a nice park for children to play.

I am fortunate to live quite close to these pretty gardens. Area for playing bowls, tennis courts and seating areas. Can get a cup of tea from the tea bar. Lovely in the summer.

Entrance is free, lovely cafe, good snacks and prices. Bring dogs and kids they will love it.
