Although the line may be a bit short, the railway is still brilliant! I went there with a few of my friends, and the staff was really friendly; they showed us around the shed and we even got footplate rides on Russel! The museum is...More

Dad and I spent a lovely morning at this railway. The staff were extremely friendly (without being overbearing). With this railway you get a lot more than you expect, the actual railway journey isn’t very long (about a mile) but everyone can disembark at the...More

Not to be confused with the main Welsh Highland railway this short section is ideal for anyone who does not have time or has travelled on the other narrow gauge railway. I decided to opt for the footplate experience which was very good. The train crew...More

The shed/ museum stop off is great if you have young children that want play on some real trains. I do hope this place is charging admission rates to look after the rolling stock, line and volunteers, as I feel it was rather expensive too....More

We visited on a very wet day with our two boys 8 and 12. Had lunch in the cafe (which was a bit expensive) then took the short train ride. We also got chance to drive a diesel engine which was brilliant. Sheds are full...More

This is a lovely short railway, where a round trip takes about 50 minutes, including 20 mins at a 'museum' stop (lots of kids activities here) and 5 minutes is taken up with the engine being reversed at the other end. If you wish you...More

Not sure as I've not got a dog, but other railway does as there were dogs on and big dogs were hard to pass on the small trains. I'm sure the website will tell you.
