Went along on a Heritage day visit so was free but only got a sort of preview as most of the "villagers" were not there. Looked interesting & those who were there were talkative. Only negative is that whilst you can try to immerse yourself...More

The Village has been on my "To Visit" list for years and we finally got round to visiting today. The volunteers were fabulous - everyone was so knowledgable and we were particularly impressed by how they all stayed in 17th Century character. We really felt...More

We spent a very interesting couple of hours at this fascinating village tucked away in the woods. All the staff ( the car park attendant, the shop lady, the re-enactors, the crafters) were all so helpful and friendly and they all made our visit very...More

Really enjoyed this stroll around the village. Nice interactions with the "locals", you will learn alot. Really good value for money 💰 too. This was our second visit and children had a good afternoon, maybe the highlight was the village foxes.

My friend and I visited in the May half term. We thought it would just be a walk through some old houses and were really surprised that this village was alive with people of that era! Totally brilliant and spent about 3 hours there! Really...More

The village itself was great and the people in costume in some of the cottages told some very interesting stories. They need to put up more comprehensive signs for parking as the village was at the end of a very narrow lane and we nearly...More

Thank you for your review and I am pleased you enjoyed your visit. The area around Little Woodham is currently being developed and unfortunately is very scruffy right now, but once all the work is complete it should look great!
