this pretty little village in the woods is well worth a visit. and its a cheap day out.. shame you cant get food here so bring a picnic.

Spent a lovely visit early afternoon. Character enactors are first class. Demonstrations carefully and thought fully explained. Great picnic areas. reasonably priced drinks. Very enjoyable.

Went along on a Heritage day visit so was free but only got a sort of preview as most of the "villagers" were not there. Looked interesting & those who were there were talkative. Only negative is that whilst you can try to immerse yourself...More
