The view from the high of the castle is beautiful, the guide very friendly, and the exhibition about Ceuta interesting, and allow to enter in the castle room, I enjoyed it even if not very big.

It sits at the top of the hill so there are very nice views of the surrounding area. If you're in the area, it's worth a visit.

The castle location is the highest point in the region. Therefore, the view is great on sunset when we came. Easy to find, 3 minutes walking from the historical center of Belmonte.

In a great location, as usual for castles, this one does not have much left from the original building. There's a huge amphitheatre in the middle which really breaks the mood of the place. They offer interesting exhibits.

It is very small but it was clean and well treated. The exposition was kind of weak. It isn't possible to go to the best parts of the castle The price is only 2 euros

In fairness many things were closed the day we here, but the castle is well preserved and the walks and climbs are quite rewarding.

we visited this castle at day and afterwards at night. It is spectacular to watch it by night. We didn't visited inside as it was closed when we arrived at Belmonte.
