Small museum, not much information in English, done in 10 mins, might be ok for kids as fun to see the chocolate things but honestly not crucial for a visit

My wife and I visited Modica on account of its famous and delicious chocolate. We sampled chocolate in a couple of places. Then decided to visit the chocolate museum we’d read about. We managed to find the building that housed it. But to our dismay,...More

There really isn't too much to see. It only cost 2.50 to enter but it isn't worth any more. There are three rooms and chocolate figures. Not much of the information is in English and it's not actually all the easy to find. Nice people...More

For all of us that loves chocolat! Its a small museum so it does not take long to walk through. On the main street of the lovely town of Modica, you can not miss it. The smell is wonderful and the history interresting.

The museum is small and somewhat disappointing. It has only three rooms, only one of which explains chocolate making. The others have carvings of chocolate such as a map of Italy.

Hidden on the 2nd floor down a dark corridor of a public building on the main street. Signage is non-existent. Ask everyone to find it. Most all the wall mounted descriptions are in Italian and wikipedia is better and easier to read. Lots of disgustingly...More

I visited this chocolate museum in modica when i went to Sicily. It's a tranquil museum in this rather fascinating and breath taking city with it's amazing baroque buildings. The museum takes you through the history of the city's chocolate making.

A small museum that was really fun to see -- first some posters on the history chocolate production in Modica, then on the production of chocolate more generally. The treat is the two or three rooms containing sculptures made of chocolate (busts, objects) and paintings...More

At €2.50 each entrance fee I expected a bit more than what was on offer. There were big posters with the history of chocolate but mostly it was in Italian, a bit of English here and there but no other languages were catered for. One...More
