At €2.50 each entrance fee I expected a bit more than what was on offer. There were big posters with the history of chocolate but mostly it was in Italian, a bit of English here and there but no other languages were catered for. One...More

We were advised not to visit this by the tourism centre next door, but we are glad we ignored this advice! The displays are incredible and well presented. The smell is divine too! Seeing the sculptures and map of Italy was amazing! Well worth the...More

We arrived 10min before closing, the guy at the check out told us we could still go ahead. He was right 10 min is actually too much to see that tiny display of brown sculptures. The good bit is the price, quite cheap.

This museum should only be visited when you have nothing else to do. We ended up there and paid our 2.50, and went to the museum in about 15 minutes. There's a few explanation plaques in English that help you understand everything, however it's just...More

Given that the city is known for the chocolate, you would expect a nice museum to present this history. This museum consists of only 2 rooms, but I would recommend going to see it because of the Italian map made in chocolate. There are also...More

Having never visited a chocolate museum before this was an interesting experience. In the museum there are chocolate sculptures and a huge chocolate map of Italy containing landmarks such as the Leaning Tower of Pisa, Colosseum etc. Try Modica chocolate, it tastes quite different to...More

Well worth a visit to see how chocolate was traditionally, and still is made in Modica. There are lots of fabulous chocolate sculptures in the museum and the smell is incredible.

Sculptures carved from chocolate and a map of italy made of chocolate. Something different and quite interesting as there is information on the history of chocolate and how it is made. Obviously for chocolate lovers as the smell is delightful.
