The beach is just behind the wall of the old town, so it is the closest sandy beach for those who live in the centre of Gallipoli. It is possible to sunbathe there, but the locals advise to go farther from the city port if...More

That is a public beach so one should not expect the services and the atmosphere of a private beach . Nevertheless the sand is fine and the water is clear and clean. That coud also be seen from the above

It is the beach in the old town, but very clean water and sand. It is public beach without servises, but for swimming after day in town it is best.

This essentially right at the old town and the beach is a sandy strech beneath one of the walls. I doubut you would say it was a good beach but pretty enough with the old town at the back.

This is a nice little beach in the center of the Centro Storico, easy to reach, with beautiful views and near to restaurants and bars.

Lovely beach to relax on, but could do with a good clean up. It was quiet enough when we visited, but I believe it gets hectic in July and August! Fabulous to watch the sunset from the rocks or from the restaurant directly above the...More

Nice, small beach with very clean water that can be reached by foot. Especially suited when you have only few hours for tour sun-bath.

This beach truly belongs to the people of Gallipoli who come with their folding chairs and sun umbrellas, in particular at the week- end. The sea here is not unfortunately the cleanest and has a lot of seaweed which accumulates - for clean sea water...More
