Few minutes walking from downtown you can reach a wonderful landscape, one of the oldest site in Arona. A tourist "train" stop at the Rocca Borromea. You can drink and eat seeing the lake and the whole city.

This is such a great walk up and if you can not walk take the tourist train in summer. Worth the walk, take a book and have a great wine of aperitivo up there.
