Authors even use pictures of this place for their book cover. Curraghs can be launched here. And when they take to sea old times return, times of the cloth.

Breathtaking scenery and walk! Steep twisty path down the cliff side, which reveals more and more spectacular views at each turn. (very steep for walking back up again - take your time).

Real cool spot, lovely views of the blasket islands. Boat tours available at the pier daily. One of the best drives in Ireland, out along Slea Head and Dun Chaoin Pier.

Maybe it’s a little far away from the ring of Kerry but it definitely worts a deviation. The rocks are majestic and beautiful, event If the weather is a little rainy.

You can park at the top of the pier. That is where the ticket office / shed is for the Blasket trips and there is plenty of places to park around it
