Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Bridge was closed so we were not able to see the pools but was able to walk to the bridge to see a pretty blue river. Was disappointing.

Will need to book transportation from Wanaka to the Raspberry Hill carpark, think its around $180nzd one way. spent 2 nights at Aspiring hut before doing a day hike to Liverpool hut. I would even just spend a day exploring the lower aspiring valley. I saw like 10 Kea in the area!. booking the hut for 2 nights seemed like a good idea There is lots of time to go at an easy pace and enjoy the scenery. You will need to book through the Department of Conservation NZ web site. If you book, you just need to take cooking stuff and food, The DOC provides a mattress bunk and a gas stove. Aspiring hut is quite big and cozy. There are options to pitch a tent outside; its cheaper but you don't have access to Gas stove. Booking Hut cost $60NZD per person per night

An absolute joy to do this trip! We drove from Wanaka and the scenery was exceptional. There was a little bit of snow that the kids enjoyed.

We did this 10km each way trip in around 3-4h. It's mostly g2-3 and involves some small stream crossings. The scenery as you head up valley is stunning with many glaciers. The hit itself is made of Otago schist and very picturesque. Enjoy :)

The driving to Mt. Aspiring National Park was beautiful and the 10km return hike to Rob Roy Glacier was gorgeous. You hike along a beautiful series of waterfalls and are in the shade most of the time. You come out to an alpine meadow with a stunning view of the mountains, glacier and tons of waterfalls.

We drove through this area to Haast. It is a lovely drive, very close to the mountains and numerous tracks for walking.

We helicopter in, and started the hiking to Mt. Aspiring. The whole trip was a once in a lifetime and really some of the most beautiful scenery.

This National Park is well worth making an effort to come to. There is stunning scenery, mountains, lakes, and much more. There are lots of walks to suit everyone. Long ones and short ones. Skiing in the winter and swimming in the summer. Definitely come.

This place is made for hikers, climbers, explorers and nature lovers. We drove on the dirt road and had a grand time getting out of the mud...it was fun. Hiking was lovely.
