My girlfriend and I recently completed the Niger Stream canyoning and had the most EPIC time! We were in a group of 5 with the all-mighty Bryce as our tour guide who was fun, knowledgable, safe and made the day unforgettable - thanks so much Bryce! The tour started off with a 15m abseil and similar height slide and jump... More

We've never done any canyoning before. We saw it advertised and had some time so made the effort to go from Queenstown to Wanaka to give it a go. We did the Niger Stream canyon and it was just epic. It was fun, challenging, blooming scary at times, and non stop awesome. Dan was our guide, and he was clear,... More

Had a great day with our adventurous and vivacious guide Renee going down the Big Nige river. In our small group I had so much fun sliding, diving, abseiling and jumping into plunge pools and rivers. I can't wait to do it again! Absolutely one of the best experiences I've had in Wanaka!

A truly superb day out for adrenaline junkies. We opted for the 'Big Nige' trip - the day started with a full description of all the kit we'd be using (wetsuit, helmets, etc) before bundling them into a makeshift rucksack and hiking up from the bottom to our entry point into the canyon. Once at the top Jeremy and Dan... More

My husband and I went on the Cross Creek adventure. Once we arrived to the creek area we hiked about 20 minutes to the beginning of our canyoning adventure. We put on our wet suits and began our trek through the water. We had a small group of 3 which kept things moving along. Along the way we abseiled, slid... More

Even if you are accustomed to outdoor activity, and comfortable on rocks and ropes, this is a whole new world and very worth doing. You may never again deliberately slide down a waterfall or jump many metres into a pool, and you certainly won't see these canyons any other way unless you commit to it as a long term sport.... It was one of the most exciting experience I have ever had, the up hill into the Canyon was the most difficult part (if you don't have a good physical condition like me). After that is all down, slides, jumps, abseiling, etc... The canyon is beautiful!! The crazy guides Jeremy and Owen are the best, really funny, experienced, and make... More

First time canyoning and took on 'Big Nige'. Hands down one of the best experiences I've ever had. It was non-stop, relentless, exhilarating fun and felt like pretty hard work. You definitely shouldn't be afraid of heights but felt safe the whole time with our really excellent guide. The team are all amazing, professional and lovely and totally make this... More
