Well worth taking a half day out for this trip to Mou Waho Island. The boat ride is fun and walk to the lake and views exhilarating. Chris is an entertaining guide who shares a wealth of knowledge amongst the banter. A dedicated conservationist.

Thanks for the great review, the Buff Weka are extinct on Mainland NZ and have been since 1920. This is the only location you will see this particular flightless species of Weka bird in any numbers on Mainland NZ. The Trees you plant are already...More
