The most amazing trip ever experienced.3 crew had everything under control, great atmosphere, team leader was 100% in every possible way.
Captain Joe had the yacht under control when the fishing rod went off just to make the day by catching an extremely huge Giant Trevally.
The day was perfect in every possible way.

This is a 40 foot catamaran that takes less than 20 people per trip. There were about 12 of us the day we went out. There are no tables and chairs. You have a bench seat or the bean bags on the nets at the front. The company was lovely to deal with and confirmed our trip several times. On the way out to the first snorkel spot we were offered fruit and then biscuits (packet of chocolate or ginger). We arrived at the first spot and had a guide take us around the coral. You could go alone but just as easy to follow someone. Then we went to Mololo island and got off the boat to have lunch at the resort. We had chosen our option from grilled salmon/ burger/risotto before we left the port. Wee had to sit inside the restaurant in a dedicated area and there was a salad bar to accompany our meals. I have to say, they were very average. The grilled salmon on quinoa I had was good as it was cooked in the restaurant and not on the boat. We had to buy drinks. Then we got 25-30 mins to switch in the resort pool or walk around. We got back on the boat and went to the second snorkelling spot. It was the sand bar that other boats also go to (but they serve free alcohol on the sand bar). we did another guided snorkel which was nice. They bring bread to attract the fish. On the way back they had some music playing. This is not a party boat. Most of then people on it were over 60. It was a gentle relaxing type of trip. If that's what you are looking for, then its for you!

Ideal day of sailing, snorkeling and island hopping on a privately chartered catamaran. Day started with drinks and fresh fruit while cruising to first snorkeling destination followed by sailing to Musket Cove and being welcomed at an elegant resort that featured our best meal in Fiji. Then back on board the catamaran after lunch to another snorkeling destination and more fresh fruit and drinks for the sail back to Denaru. One of our best days in Fiji and not to be missed!

We were able to book on short notice, and it turned out we were part of a small group of 10 people, plus the crew, for the day. This provided a more personalized experience for the trip. Not sure this happens every trip, but it proved to be really nice for us. There was lots of room to spread out and used the trampoline and bean bag seats for an enjoyable cruise. We visited two snorkel spots, the second reef was the best spot we snorkeled while in Fiji.
The lunch at the resort was good, but nothing to write home about.
The crew was engaged and loved to share their history and culture.
We will not hesitate to book again on our next visit.

Truly amazing experience! We have been on catamaran snorkeling tours all over the Caribbean, Costa Rica, Mexico and the Maldives. Coral Cats is top notch. Our trip only had 7 total passengers and 3 crew. The crew were kind, professional, knowledgeable and extremely helpful.
The reef stop had miraculous snorkeling. It was an easy float that was lead by the snorkel guide and the assistant in the back of the group. There was no rushing us. They were just happy that we were enjoying our experience.
The stop at Musket Cove was lovely as well. Very good, very generous lunch! Entire room in the restaurant reserved for just our group.
The sandbar water was a little murky when we arrived, but they made it fun by feeding the fish and showing us many of the local sea animals.
The ride back was smooth and relaxing. The crew pampered us. It was a 5 star experience!!!

We booked the full day sailing/ snorkelling trip for Friday 17 November.
From the beginning, staff were extremely responsive and friendly in answering questions I had after booking. It was such a relief to have such prompt answers from the company and it made me confident that the trip would be very smooth.
Coral Cats organised us a taxi from Lautoka to Port Denarau, and back, on the day of the trip, which made things a lot easier for us!
As for the sailing itself, it was simply perfect. The guys running the tour were great, particularly the main guy who entertained us all with his humour and talent for making just about anything out of the long leaves (I can’t remember what they are called) - such as flowers, fish, hats, boats, birds. The staff were very experienced with boats and sailing.
The snorkelling was beautiful. We snorkelled at two locations, one on the way to lunch, and one on the way back. The water was clear and turquoise, and we swam with fish of all colours. Some of the coral had been impacted by the cyclone a couple days before, which is to be expected. It was still incredible.
We were provided with two fruit platters throughout the day, in addition to our lunch. Lunch at Malalo Lailai island was great. We had a selection of salads, bread and balsamic, and our individual meals made to order (included in the sailing package). Cocktails were great too (excluded from package). The island was a secluded paradise that resembled the Maldives.
After 1 hour on the island, we boarded for our second (final) snorkelling session at ‘the sand bar’. As I’ve said, it was incredible.
This was one of the best days I’ve ever lived, particularly because of how smooth the tour was, the beautiful and sunny weather (so great to see after the rain and wind from the cyclone earlier in the week), and the largely untouched beauty of the snorkelling sites.
Thank you Coral Cats for such a great day. I will be recommending you to others :)

We would definitely recommend Coral Cats Sailing. We had a fantastic day out with the team, Tiki, Steven and Joe.
There was a total of 9 guests (6 from our party and 3 others) and 3 crew which made for a comfortable number on board (other boat trips had LARGE numbers on board) The crew were amazing, and the snorkelling was brilliant. A special mention for Steven who pushed a couple of us around on a raft so as we could see the reef! Lunch options were chosen before we departed and served at one of the hotels on the island of Malolo Lailai.

Small group on the Coral Cats Catamaran. I did two snorkeling trips in a week; first trip there were five of us, second trip there was seven of us. If you like small groups, Coral Cats is it. The crew and staff are very friendly, helpful and fun to be with. Fresh fruit to snack on and lunch was good with fish and fresh salads and fruits at Musket Cove. The snorkeling is great.

I cannot recommend this company enough! Four of us went on the coral explorer tour last month and it was perfection. There were six passengers in total plus the crew of three. Beautiful boat, stunning views underwater snorkeling and an amazing lunch on a small island resort mid day. Shout out to the wonderful Naite, Teko, Capt Mac and Stephan! This was a much better experience than the big, rowdy party boats if you are looking for something more sophisticated. Truly amazing!

Hi, I’d love to do a day trip to some nice islands even try snorkling but I’m worried about possible bad weather. I’m a hopeless sailor and have had 2 not very nice experiences in Thailand , once with high winds and once a sudden storm. What can I expect around the Mamanuca isles for a few days, and the Mala Mala beach club day trip weather wise for next October ?Can it get very blowy or bad ? Thanks for an honest answer.

They keep a close eye on the weather forecast & do cancel trips if the water is rough. It was a little choppy on our return trip but very manageable. October is coming into their wetter windier season but we were there early/mid October & had only 1 overnight thunderstorm. Enjoy!!

I’m afraid we get back late from the island trip to catch our 9:30pm flight?
Do they offer half day island snorkeling trip? If not them does anyone else?
Also how do we have a quick shower to rinse the salt water after this trip before our flight?
Thx

Hi there, I was just wondering what the cost is for a day trip? How soon should I book?

Look on their offical website for the most updated prices. We booked a week out online. If spaces are available you could even book the day before.

How much would a charter for 8 adults be for May 4, 5 or 6, 2018. Is a pick up in Pacific Harbor possible? Unfortunately we are on a budget.
Is there beer/wine for purchase on board and on the island? Or can we bring our own drinks/snacks?

Do not remember if they servers or offered alcohol, but you can definitely buy at the island.

We are 4 couples thinking of booking a private rental. Can you please give me some idea of the cost of a day trip?
Thanks,
