We were surprised how rocky some beaches in la Maddalena could be, we were expecting a bit more of sand, but this beach did not disapoint, cristal clear water perfect for a dip.

Had to park our hire car at the end of the metal road as the unmade road to the beaches were extremely rocky. It was 10 minutes walk to the beaches but well worth it. It wasn't nearly as busy as many of the other...More

This was definitely my favourite Sardinina beach on La Maddalena, having visited most of the 'key' ones during our recent trip. Reaching the parking place for the Testa de Polo requires you drive down a terrible rocky road (praying that your hire car suspension survives...More

This beach is just breathtaking. A little hard to find but it is really worth to drive there. The color of the water is amazingly beautiful (Crystal waters) in an amazing landscape of rocks. :-)

If you don't have a car, it takes about 35 minutes to walk there from the bus stop "La Ricciolina". But it is definitely worth it. Probably better to go there early morning when it is not already overcrowded.
