This was definitely my favourite Sardinina beach on La Maddalena, having visited most of the 'key' ones during our recent trip. Reaching the parking place for the Testa de Polo requires you drive down a terrible rocky road (praying that your hire car suspension survives...More

14 mins drive from the city centre...this one is quite a stunner. The different shades of blue of the water with the rocks popping up here and there make it a very beautiful sight. You can find some own place to soak in the sun....More

We went to the beach on Sunday. After 17 it was still a lot of people and the beach itself is very small. The water is really beautiful though!! Giant stones are there, but to get there, you need a good car or a bike,...More

This beach is just breathtaking. A little hard to find but it is really worth to drive there. The color of the water is amazingly beautiful (Crystal waters) in an amazing landscape of rocks. :-)

If you don't have a car, it takes about 35 minutes to walk there from the bus stop "La Ricciolina". But it is definitely worth it. Probably better to go there early morning when it is not already overcrowded.

Beautiful clear water, bring snorkels! It's a small beach so come early. There's also some interesting hiking behind the beach if you want to climb some rocks with a beautiful view!
