Not too crowded, surf and currents is not too bad, good beach for children to play in the water. Lots of restaurants across the street and they have banana boat rides

what a lovely beach you enter the naval base and have to leave you passport which the first time i was a bit apprehensive but its fine and safe then a drive through the base, about 15 mins drive sometimes see monkeys on the road...More

The Royal Thai Navy is in charges of this Nang Rum beach and it is in their area, this place is always tidy, clean and we normally meet people of manner here. Try avoid weekend and holiday if you love the quiet and peaceful place....More

Was denied access because I’m not Thai! I was denied access to all attractions and beaches in the Sattahip area. Was told only for Thai people. Felt discriminated

Only 45 minutes from south Pattaya, it is unbelievable to find this nice beach. This beach is undercontroled by Thai Navy but allow tourists to come and enjoy the place. Recommend to go there in morning time (8.00 am is perfect!) to get your place...More
